• When I met Stormy Daniels for a Reviewer Magazine interview in the office of a San Diego strip club (they were an advertiser) it was for a local color feature piece type bit. She had been getting mainstream work and that was something that distinguished her from other porn actresses. There were rumors, if I recall, that she was as you might say punching above her weight socially, and she was going places.

• There was no inkling that she’d be the key figure in the events that would lead to the first criminal trial of an ex-U.S. president.

• I’m the off-camera interviewer and if I sound drunk in this video it’s because I had a couple of beers at the bar next door while waiting for her to get ready to be on camera.
