Glenn Chase, Windansea lot interview

I've download this from the Reviewer YouTube channel to upload here because Substack makes clips and adds transcription.

I casually held the camera down so as not to be aggressively holding it holding it up in front of the famous surf scene artist Glenn Chase. He’s a really mellow guy and was selling paintings at the edge of the Windansea La Jolla parking lot for a while. This was uploaded to YouTube.com/reviewer on December 14 of 2021, and probably shot the same day or not long before.

Glenn sounds angry here about a bitter issue involving a recent magazine article written about him. He also talks about his personal friendships with other artists of the 1960’s counter-cultural era such as Robert Williams and Rick Griffin, and reveals how he avoided military draft and being sent to the human slaughter of Vietnam.

Reviewer wishes him the best. Ride on, artist Glenn Chase!
