Let's go watch the sunset.

Just a 10-minute video of scenes along my bike ride today to watch the sunset at Stonesteps. It may be banal and jejune but hey I wanted to post it. Scroll ahead if you want to get to the good part. The waves were up. Over in Hawaii, they had The Eddie contest today, and this looks like part of that swell. I didn’t paddle out because I had several things to check off on my to-do list. I know, that sounds like an excuse but it’s the same one I’d use if it were hot, offshore, and head-high rather than cold, onshore, and way overhead. I checked the Surfline video and Swami’s was not closing out and holding the swell pretty well but it was really crowded too. No one was really getting any waves to themselves.
