…well, most of it. My deductible was $250. Included in the work was a full transmission flush on the Reviewervan, to get all the K Street flood water out of it, and same for the back differential. The shop also included a bit of front end work which as a vehicle with over 360k miles on it was long overdue. All taken care of by insurance. I guess it pays to have full coverage. But the best thing? Getting a rental car too. I drove this cool little Toyota Corolla around for a few days for free. Sporty and quick, seen here in this clip as I returned it yesterday, the mileage was a welcomed relief to the 9-miles-per-gallon my two 28 year-old V8’s get. It had an Arizona license plate which got a me some dirty looks from people on the freeway but flog ‘em. I didn’t care. So I’m looking for a new 4 cylinder to buy now, if anyone has something. Contact me here I guess (reviewer@substack.com) or through the usual methods if you know of anything. I’m in San Diego but can travel for a deal that’s worth it.
